Rise and Shine Healing is an organization founded by Susan Verhoogt. We
offer workshops and events for groups and individuals as
well as private healing sessions and consultations for individuals. Rise and Shine Healing is located at the Rise and Shine Center in Bragg Creek. Our practitioners are Susan Verhoogt, BeJay Harty and David Montgomery. Our goal is to offer you life tools to use for self discovery and life enhancement.

Treatments, workshops and events are offered at the Rise and Shine Center. Located in a serene setting in Bragg Creek, this is the ideal place to be if you would like to get a break from hectic city life. Bragg Creek is located West of Calgary.

Rise and Shine Center is located in the hamlet of Bragg Creek. The address is: 28 Burney Road.
Directions:
Coming from hwy 8: Take hwy 22 towards Bragg Creek. At the 4-way stop in Bragg Creek (Shell gas station on your right hand side) turn right onto White Avenue. Drive past the community center, turn left onto Burney Road (across from the Steak Pit). Go straight, #28 will be on your left hand side before the road makes a sharp curve to the left. There are 2 entrances that indicate #28, please use the second entrance.

Want a girls nite out but don’t feel like driving anywhwere? Would you like to connect with your friends in a very special way? Would you like to organize an original Bridal Shower? Rise and Shine has the answer for you! We are now offering Rise and Shine parties at your home. This can be an evening or an afternoon that consists of 3 hours. During this time you will receive a guided meditation, a Tarot- Angel-or Sacred Geometry Reading and a Reiki/Healing Touch session. There are various packages available or you can create your own package either in advance or on the evening/afternoon itself.

These meditation evenings are set up as a Satsang format. Satsang is a Sanskrit word, sat meaning “True” and sanga meaning “Company”.
These evenings are designed to self reflect, relax and connect with fellow human beings in a supportive setting. During these evenings there will be meditations as well as some reflection on life’s questions.
Often times we feel stressed out with life’s demands; overwhelmed with responsibilities and puzzled with life’s challenges. When we meditate we bring ourselves into that place of stillness where all the answers lie. When we become quite we can hear that wise inner voice that guides us.

Second degree Reiki primarily works on emotional and mental levels, where the first degree primarily worked with the healing of the physical body. Distance healing happens on the mental body level, the conscious mind.
When you get attuned to the second level of Reiki, your “vibration level” will be raised significantly. You will experience that you are being opened up even more to receive the energy, and the energy flowing through your body and coming out of your hands will be stronger. It is not so much that the energy is stronger, it is just that you have opened more in order to receive it.
